CABIN CONSTRUCTION UNDERWAY
Easton Mountain is expanding it's housing facilities
with two new Garden Cabins, slated to be complete by
summer's end.
The new cabins will replace the "Domes,"
which offered group housing without restroom facilities.
The first of two cabins is well under way to completion.
The second will begin shortly thereafter. The buildings
will be winterized and at a future time an ecologically-friendly
restroom will be constructed between the two cabins.
The Domes, though unique
and loved by many, were in too much disrepair to use
for another season - and repairs would have been too
cost prohibitive. And as you can see from the photos
below, we acted none too soon! An unusually strong spring
windstorm ripped a 6 foot diameter (unrepairable) hole
in the Dome. Drama? No! Opportunity for growth? Yes!
